Definitely delete ContentExplorer adware from your computer

Step 1 Reset Browser setting
Mozilla Firefox
1.Press Alt+H and click Troubleshooting Information.
2.Click Reset Firefox.
3.Again click another Reset Firefox and click Finish.

Internet Explorer
1.Press Alt+T.
2.Click Internet Options and open the Advanced tab.
3.Click Reset.
4.Select the tick box and again click Reset.

Google Chrome
1.Press Alt+T.
2.Point to Tools and click Extensions.
3.Remove the unwanted browser add-on.
4.Click Settings.
5.In the On startup section, click the last option and click Set pages.
6.Change the startup page.
7.In the Search section, click Manage search engine and change the search provider.

Step 2 Uninstall ContentExplorer from Control Panel
1) Click the “start” button on the lower left corner of your desktop
2) Double click the button “Control Panel” to process
3) Highlight  “Add / Remove Program” icon from Control Panel
4)Select the ContentExplorer  icon in the list,
5)Click”Remove” icon to uninstall
6) Press OK to apply the changes.

Step 3 Reset system DNS Setting
Set DNS set dns 8.8.8


Step 4 Open Registry Editor and clean all values created by ContentExplorer Malware
(Steps: Hit Win+R keys and then type regedit in Run box and click on OK)

Step 5 Delete all add-ons/plug-ins/browser extensions created by ContentExplorer from infected browsers
IE:
Launch IE and tap Alt+T.
Once you see Tools menu, go to Manage Add-ons ->Toolbars and Extensions.
Now select the add-on you want to remove and select Disable.

Mozilla Firefox:
Launch Mozilla and tap Ctrl+Shift+A at the same time. You should see Add-ons Manager there.
Go to Extensions, look for the  related items and remove them.

Google Chrome:
Launch Google Chrome and tap Alt+F
Once you start seeing the menu, select Tools -> Extensions.
Choose the add-on you want to delete and click on the trash icon.
