For the shake of the security of your computer and money, Sponsorship must be eliminated as soon as possible. The manual approach is still available even thought Antivirus works improperly.Step one - Remove add-ons from your IE, Google Chrome and Firefox ( take IE as an example)
For IE:
- Open IE and go to ‘Tools‘ → ”Manage Add-ons’.
- Choose ‘Toolbars and Extensions’ and uninstall everything related to from the list.
- Choose ‘Search Providers’ → choose the search engine you used before and make it your default search provider. Additionally, select ‘Web Search’, click ‘Disable suggestions’ to disable it.
- Go ‘Tools’ → ‘Internet Options’ and select ‘General’ tab. Click ‘Use default’ or enter your own website name, google.com or other. Finally, click ‘OK’ to save the changes.
Step two - Reset your DNS setting
1) Open Control Panel (Start->Control Panel)->2) Double-click “Network Connections” icon to open it.->3) Right click on “Local Area Connection” icon and select “Properties”.->4) Select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” and click “Properties” button.->5) Choose “Obtain DNS server address automatically” and click OK.
Step three- show all hidden files
- Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
- Click the View tab.
- Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
Step four - remove all files associated with Sponsorship
